The FVF Emotional Horology No. 1 Superligero. It’s a hell of a name and fortunately also one hell of a watch. At 46 mm it might not be the smallest piece in the world however the ultra-light materials and sheer skeletonisation make it far lighter than it might look.
The dial is dominated by both a one-minute flying tourbillon in its usual place at six o’clock and a day indicator at 12, with a day/night indicator nestled underneath. A masterwork movement on full display, the exquisite level of finishing suggest that it is indeed emotional watchmaking from FVF – the very definition of a passion project.
