The spotlight may be on Richemont’s old guard at SIHH, but the growing contingent of independents have made themselves felt, and few more so than HYT who have luxuriously reinterpreted their iconic H0 model.
Gone is the uniform black with bright highlights, replaced instead by the ever-rarer yellow gold. Black highlights replace the fluorescent blues and greens for a more toned-down look – a pretty hard feat given that a good deal of the dial is given over to pumps driving HYT’s signature liquid time-telling system.
It’s as big and bold as ever but HYT are one of those rare brands where encasing the entire watch in gold is actually subtler. We’re just hoping they don’t bring out the diamonds.
